Ciccarelli Law Offices was founded in Chester County Pennsylvania approximately ten years ago after Lee Ciccarelli himself sought a vision for a law practice devoted to the clients it served.

Lee Ciccarelli began his practice after some ten years of litigation experience in trial and at the negotiating table in disputes and forums throughout the state from Philadelphia in the east to west of Harrisburg; and from Williamsport and Coudersport in the North to York, Lancaster, West Chester, and Media in the south. Ciccarelli's experience in trial both in the area of personal injury, automobile accident, medical malpractice and in criminal defense, serves as a foundation for a firm with the integrity, passion and experience needed for the toughest of legal battles.

Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the oldest of eight children, Lee was instilled by his parents with a keen desire to seek the truth, demand fairness, pursue justice, and serve others.

Over fifty years ago, Lee's uncle and his father, a veteran of WWII, an entrepreneur, and a deeply religious man, both rose from the shadows of the Great Depression to begin a family tradition of excellent customer service and long term client relationships. Their devotion to satisfying their patrons, treating them with respect and honesty, and maintaining a high standard for themselves and their clients was passed on to each to their children.

No less important to his father, Pasqualino and Uncle Clem was that their children be well educated and devoted to the service of others. Invigorated by this purpose, Lee pursued an education at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA where he combined a curriculum of chemistry and the sciences with American history, focusing on Civil Rights and the Labor Movement, and the Women's Movement.

Since his graduation from the George Washington University Law school, he has successfully represented individuals in personal injury and criminal defense matters including automobile accident, premises liability, medical malpractice, consumer protection, and DUI and criminal cases, in more than twenty-five (25) counties throughout central and eastern PA.

Lee's Law Firm is located in Chester County Pennsylvania with its primarily locations being West Chester, Kennett Square, and Coatesville but also has satellite locations in Lancaster (Lancaster County), Plymouth Meeting and King of Prussia (Montgomery County), Springfield and Radner (Delaware County), Center City Philadelphia and Williamsport (Lycoming County). Mr. Rowan concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation and labor/employment law, primarily representing commercial and business clients. His litigation practice focuses the representation of business clients in both state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts, in Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. His practice includes handling complex commercial and class action matters through all stages of litigation, including appeals.

With regard to labor and employment law, Mr. Rowan focuses his practice on the representation of both public and private sector employers in union and nonunion environments. His experience includes litigation of employment discrimination actions (including Title VII and ADA cases), FMLA and FLSA matters. Mr. Rowan also litigates and advises clients concerning common law employment issues such as wrongful discharge, non-competition/non-solicitation agreements and trade secret issues.

Prior to joining Shumaker Williams, Mr. Rowan was an attorney in a civil litigation practice in the Baltimore area. His prior experience includes commercial litigation and class-action matters, personal injury, product liability, premises liability, and toxic-tort matters.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Rowan was the law clerk to the Honorable Judge Ronald A. Silkworth in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.

Mr. Rowan is licensed to practice in Maryland, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland, District of Columbia, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania and Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association.

Mr. Rowan earned his law degree from the University of Maryland in 1998 and his B.A. from Saint Joseph’s University in 1993. While at the University of Maryland, Mr. Rowan was an associate editor of The Business Lawyer and interned with the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Leonard G. Brown III is a shareholder in Clymer, Musser, Brown & Conrad, P.C. and his practice focuses on constitutional litigation in the areas of free exercise of religion, freedom of assembly and free speech, Civil Litigation and Estate Planning. Mr. Brown has been trained by the Alliance Defense Fund's National Litigation Academy and has participated in ADF strategic planning conferences. He was raised in Southern Lancaster County, leaving in 1987 to accept an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Mr. Brown graduated from West Point in 1991 and commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served as a light engineer platoon leader and executive officer at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. Mr. Brown was graduated magna cum laude from the Campbell University School of Law in 1998. While at Campbell, he served as Article Editor for the Campbell Law Review and president of the Christian Legal Society. Upon graduation he served two years as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Malcolm J. Howard, District Court Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. While a federal law clerk he also served as in the U.S. Army Reserve JAGC at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, PA. He has also served at U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, as a reserve JAG officer. He presently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Joint Task Force for the National Capital Region and the Military District of Washington. Additionally, he also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the United States Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth , Kansas. Mr. Brown is married to Amy J. Brown and has two children. He enjoys reading, sports, and hunting.

Mr. Pappas' practice focuses in all areas of civil litigation primarily representing commercial and business clients. Mr. Pappas represents title companies, mortgage companies, financial institutions, real estate developers, manufacturing companies and individuals with commercial disputes. Mr. Pappas represents these clients in arbitration, mediation and trial settings. Mr. Pappas received his B.A. from Lehigh University and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Widener University School of Law, where he was a National Competitor on the Moot Court Honor Society, member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and served on the Executive Board of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. While in law school, Mr. Pappas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. Savage of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was also a legal intern at a commercial litigation law firm in Center City Philadelphia. I am a Deputy Attorney General with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. My primary focus is in the area of criminal prosecution and appellate practice.

Upon graduating from the Dickinson School of Law, I accepted a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Justice Thomas G. Saylor, Jr., of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Thereafter, I became a prosecutor with the York County District Attorney's Office. While with the DA's Office, I was eventually promoted to Chief Deputy Prosecutor of the Special Case Unit, which handled the specialized prosecution of all child abuse, sexual assault, and juvenile cases. In 2007, I accepted my current position with the Attorney General's Office's Appeals and Legal Services Section.

Born and raised in the suburbs of New York, Joshua was the oldest of four children. Born to two educators and raised in an open-minded and caring environment, Joshua was raised to prize open-thought, demand answers to questions left unanswered, and debate issues until resolved. As eldest son, his natural has always been to protect and demand justice.

There was never a question in the family of teachers that Josh would succeed in college and he did not disappoint, excelling in his majors of Psychology and Political Science at Rutgers University. It was no more than a natural progression from Rutgers to enrollment in law school at Widener Law School, where he again excelled in the class room while meticulously expanding his practical legal knowledge with a three year clerkship with Lee A. Ciccarelli.

Josh earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener Law School.
