A native of Dummerston, Vermont, Will is a graduate of Yale University (history) and received his law degree in 1992 from the University of New Mexico School of Law. He began his law career as a litigator, as one of only two associates working with the nationally recognized trial lawyer, Randi McGinn, in Albuquerque, NM. His trial lawyer practice focused on wrongful death, catastrophic injury, employment discrimination and insurance bad faith litigation. For eight additional years, Will operated his own firm and expanded his specialties to include business transactions, business formation, commercial litigation, and providing lawsuit defense services for his business clients. Will's litigation experience includes bench and jury trials in state and federal courts, as well as extensive appellate work. Will is a frequently invited lecturer in the area of litigation graphics and technology for groups such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Illinois Cook County Public Defender's Office Capital Crimes Division and the Office of Defender Services for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.
Will returned to Vermont with his family and joined Ward & Babb in February of 2006. His practice continues to focus on civil litigation and business transactions. In his free time, Will loves to snowboard and read, expanding on his passion for Vermont history that began when he wrote his Yale senior thesis on Ira Allen's revolutionary war negotiations with British General Frederick Haldimand.

Chris Larson is a trial attorney who focuses on insurance claims and lawsuits for personal injuries, medical and legal malpractice, construction defects, and contract claims. Chris also has significant experience in real estate issues, including Act 250 permitting.

Chris grew up on a dairy farm in Rutland County before heading to Michigan for undergraduate school. After college, he returned to Vermont to spend a year working in real estate appraisal. He then attended Harvard Law School, where he graduated with high honors in 2003. During law school, Chris worked in environmental law, assisted low-income clients in housing disputes, and represented the State of Massachusetts in criminal matters with the office of the Salem District Attorney. After graduating, he joined the real estate department of a major Boston firm. Missing the Green Mountains and the people and communities that enrich life in Vermont, he returned in 2005 to serve as law clerk for the trial courts in Rutland County. Chris joined Meub Associates in 2007, and became a shareholder in Meub, Gallivan, Carter & Larson, Attorneys, P.C. in 2009.

Chris serves the community as a member of the Middletown Springs Select Board, as a member of the board of governors of the Vermont Association for Justice, and as the President of Vermont Actors' Repertory Theatre.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and received my J. D. Degree, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law. I began my law career as an associate of the noted personal injury attorney and former Miami Beach, Florida, Mayor, Jay Dermer in 1979. Upon Jay's untimely death in 1984, I opened my own practice on Flagler Street in Miami, Florida. I moved my family and personal injury practice to Vermont in 1991 and am currently licensed in both Vermont and Florida and practice before the state and federal courts there.

I am a member of the Brain Injury Association of Vermont, the American Association for Justice, the Vermont Association for Justice, the Rutland County Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association, and The Florida Bar. I am a past President of the Shrewsbury, VT Elementary School Board, and a past member of the Rutland South Supervisory Union School Board. I have worked from the Boards' perspective on contract negotiations with the local teachers Union and I have served on numerous committees on behalf of the Boards, including the Superintendent and Principal Search Committees.

My wife of 30 years, Charlene, and I are recent empty-nesters and reside in Shrewsbury, Vermont with a Newfoundland and a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) and a cat. I am an avid fisherman and turkey hunter and a member of the Green Mountain Fly Tyers Club and the Otter Valley Aquarium Society. I am also a hobby aquarist, raising Endler's Livebearers.
